We are a private, 501(c)(3) non-profit nonprofit transportation company certified by the PA Public Utility Commission to provide demand responsive service to the general public. Incorporated in 1983 as the Delaware County Transportation Consortium when the County coordinated the transportation needs of various human service agencies.
We provide about 2,167 trips every weekday to Delaware County residents of all ages for any trip purpose on an advance reservation, first come first served basis. Passengers must first become registered before scheduling a trip. Trips must originate in Delaware County. Destinations may be in Delaware County and Philadelphia. Trips to Montgomery and Chester Counties and other surrounding counties are more limited.
Our workforce consists of nearly 100 full-time and part-time employees.
We provide a fleet of 48 wheelchair accessible minibuses that service the Delaware County region.

Coordinator of the PA Lottery-funded Senior Citizen Shared Ride Program in Delaware County. Persons age 65 and older pay only 15 percent of the actual fare. Trip requests are accepted up to two weeks in advance. Community Transit will accept trip requests until noon one business day in advance, as availability permits. All trips are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and rides are available as capacity and ride sharing allow.
Administrator of the county's Medical Assistance Transportation Program that subsidizes in part or in total the cost of transportation for low income persons traveling to approved medical facilities and treatments.
